The Coady Collection provides public access to rare and carefully reconstructed Irish historical population records. These datasets preserve original household structures, street-level detail, and research methodology while making the material searchable and explorable using modern digital tools. The project exists to ensure that fragile historical data is not lost, simplified, or detached from its original context. Maintaining, preserving, and expanding this work requires ongoing technical care and archival stewardship.
